About this project
A custom wrought iron staircase railing built by K Metalwork for a home in Irvine, CA. The handrail follows the sweep of a curved staircase and continues across the second-floor landing as a matching balcony guard, finished with a hand-scrolled volute at the base newel. Forged balusters with knuckle detail and a satin black finish give it a timeless, hand-crafted look that pairs with the white oak treads. Every section was measured to the radius of the stair, fabricated in our shop, and installed for a precise, solid fit. Traditional craftsmanship, built to last.
